Read all of those great reviews

The book is incredible - there is no doubt about it. Those who read it know it already. Read just some of the awesome reviews that are all over the web.

  • The book bought back fond memories of my childhood and more recent times. I grew up on the northern beaches and spent many happy times on those beautiful beaches that Julian described so vividly.  The childhood memories (and experiences as a teenage surf lifesaver) are so strong that his descriptions brought back the smells of the sand and surf. We are fortunate to live in a very special country.  Thanks Julian; for bringing this fact so starkly back to the reader - in a truly unique and personal style.  I hope that many others will be inspired by your book to enjoy what you and I have experienced all our life - and its free.

  • The book is like something out of Boys Own; a book of adventure, feats and challenges. An unassuming man testing his own ability and achieving an incredible result by raising many thousands of dollars for charity.

  • WOW… What an adventure, with a Good cause to boot. This book reminded me of my bushwalking days in Scouting, with wonderful scenery at every turn, back to the sights and sounds of nature. The determination in all sorts of weather and situations thrown at you, great encounters with concerned locals and the true spirit of volunteer groups assisting at all times makes inspiring reading.

  • The book is a fascinating read.  I felt every pain and anticipated every discomfort. Boy would I not do well with such challenges?  Would have enjoyed the fantastic hospitality and joyous proud moments!

  • Hey Jolly, I just want to say how much I enjoyed reading your book. I know well all the walks you have done in the UK. What a great achievement walking the whole of the NSW Coast. You should be proud of everything you've done.

  • Congratulations Julian on this wonderful feet of endurance. I did not know you had bone cancer as a child and had a tumour in your left ear. Scouting has been a backbone to your achievements and you have persevered raising a lot of money for charity. Well done!

  • Life's a beach, mate. Inspired by your book and journey, I have just returned from a stroll on MY beach. Thanks to your book, striving to be more in the moment and place, soaking up the dynamic nature of this environment - savouring each view, smell and sound. I wondered about your footsteps long washed away and turned to see mine to vanish without a trace. Thank you for sharing your quest, journey and story.

  • Being an experienced but amateur bushwalker myself, your story is very inspiring offering an alternative path of beach walks. I also enjoyed your frank admission of the benefits of a beer at the end of a walk. A nice easy read.
